Sandy Cove has many “first come-first served” activities available with most at no additional cost. They include:

Free Time

Softball  •  Soccer  •  Football  • Tennis  •  Sand Volleyball  •  9 hole Disc Golf  •  Outdoor Pool (maximum capacity 200)  •  Wading Pool (lifeguard on duty 1-5 pm and 9-11 pm both Friday & Saturday)  •  Hiking Trails  •  Shuffleboard  •  Horseshoes  •  Croquet  • Corn Hole  •  9 hole Mini Golf with golf balls available from a machine - Sandy Cove will “buy back” balls when you’re done, if you wish  •  Fishing (You will need a FREE Maryland Fishing License if fishing from the pier, but no license required if fishing from the shore).  Although at no additional charge you may sign out equipment from the Front Desk, we suggest you bring your own equipment to ensure you are able to do what you want to do.  

Indoor Activities
Fitness Center:  Weight machines, treadmill, elliptical (open 24 hours a day)  •  TV Lounge - DISH, DirecTV and DVD player (bring your own DVDs  • Indoor Pool (maximum capacity 30 - lifeguard on duty 1-5 pm and 9-11 pm both Friday & Saturday  •  Playing Cards  •  Dominos  •  Scrabble • Backgammon •  Cribbage  •  The Palmer House is an indoor multi-purchase room with specific access hours: Basketball  •  Volleyball  •  Billiards  •  Ping Pong  •  Air Hockey 

And. . . there are Andirondak chairs on the shore, pool chairs next to the pools along with quiet alcoves with indoor seating so you may visit, relax, read, pray or be contemplative.
